In today’s world, growing importance is given to non-academic skills as well as a strong network.
Currently, students do not have any specific platform that allows them to exchange skills and knowledge. Social media is used to this purpose today but we believe that a specific app could be more efficient. For universities, the lack of such a platform complicates the integration process for some students. The administration can organize events and meetings, but there is no possibility of customizing the experience: students that have common interests or that are looking for new skills might not be able to meet each other.
Through this app, we want to offer students the opportunity of acquiring new skills that might be useful in their future. This project is in connection with “The Great Transition”, especially in the domain of Sharing economy & Governing digital platforms. Indeed, our app is about conciliating knowledge and skills in a way that allows us to exploit technology in order to make the process easier, faster and funnier.
