Recycling isn't a chore. Just keep it damn simple :)...

This is a Great Transition project intended to create a vast dynamic of intra-community recycling initiatives. The underlying goal is to create a new form of urban environmental scouting based on the pillars of solidarity, education, and environmental consciousness. The tool that we developed to reach this goal is an application where inhabitants register their recycling actions that are pooled together with the actions of their neighborhood, creating a virtuous cycle sustained by educational content about recycling.

This is the website dedicated to to everyone who wants to familiarize themselves with the newly launched recycling application, Recycl’App. This is a fun, educational and gamified app for all ages. Our users will enter virtual communities based on their geographic localization and will “compete” to be the best recycler and greenest citizen. In the mean time, our app allows personal users, public authorities, or anyone else that is interested, to learn and play with recycling. Learn what you can do to improve recycling in your neighborhood, what other initiatives exist, what environmental events are beign organized, and what products are becoming after their useful life.

The story behind this initiative is simple: we are a team of students eager to contribute to the world and community we evolve in through an eco-responsable and sustainable initiative. Conscious of the challenges and obstacles to eco-responsability in general and recycling in particular, we have thought of an innovative, game-like way to become a recycling champion! The idea is to get people to download our application and create an account: people from the same neighborhood will be pooled together in the same virtual community of recycling champions, sharing their recycling actions, tips & tricks to improve your daily waste diversion habits, and enriching themselves through short but intense educational contents —— keeping all of this damn simple!
