Discover Biny

Biny draws on scientific research on incentivisation and human behaviour to incentivise recycling. Our project aims to educate young students on the importance of recycling thanks to a simple game and digital bins set up in parisian schools.

Some facts :

• Parisian households produce 488kg of waste per year, twice more than 50 years ago.
• Two-thirds of trash in Paris can be recycled.
• Only one in three people under 25 recycle.
• Recycling mistakes cost 50 million euros per year in France.
• Incorrect recycling can lead to the rejection of the whole dumpste.
