This is a project for the course Great Transition at Sciences Po Paris. We are five students who have decided to work of the topic of loneliness, and to give it a solution, a social network on a mobile app to make friends !
We have decided to work on a mobile app that would help people fighting loneliness and building strong friendships.
Loneliness is a state of being where one feel a shortage for relational intimacy. Loneliness is therefore both a physical and an emotional state of being. Loneliness has been connected to social anxiety, self-esteem, social support, and depression.
To work against this We propose launching an app, aimed at meeting people, make new connections, and make friends. The intended name of the app is “m8”, pronounced “mate”.
Using the yellow color, that symbolizes friendship, our goal is to become a relevent and efficient social platforms that gathers people !
