Innovative solutions to new problems:

In 20 years it is estimated that 47% of jobs will disappear in the United States, 35% in Europe and 42% in France. Since 2008, deindustrialisation, tertiarisation and digitalisation are heavily impacting the labor market. We are currently witnessing a technological revolution that will inevitably lead to at least half of work tasks to be replaced by machines in the next 10 to 20 years.

However, the rise of technology in the workplace is also a source of new jobs. Unfortunately, a gap exists between the skills required by these new jobs and the current skills of available workers. Indeed, there is a risk of mismatch between the new jobs offered by technology and the available employees. The jobs created could be extremely rewarding, but there is a high risk that job-seeking employees will be poorly qualified for them.

Worldwide, these less qualified workers are vulnerable and will most likely not be supported by public intervention due to high levels of sovereign debt that significantly constrain public expenses. We can therefore anticipate a partial lack of public services to support these workers in the process of professional reconversion.

Our company’s mission is to support employees within firms to achieve a reconversion from their current jobs to tomorrow’s jobs in partnership with different organisations/companies. The main focus of our organisation is to develop a specific programme that allows current workers that are threatened by job replacement to discover new jobs and opportunities and develop new career paths and new skills in order to achieve their long-term goals.

Are you a company looking for a skilled workforce? An employee that want’s to discover employment opportunities? Or a company that wants to assume the liability on the future of its employees? Then…

Welcome to the Switcher programme!

The programme

Our programme is divided in a 3-stage process. The first step is about discovery, it is a one-week shadowing of a spectrum of potential jobs that would fit their expectations. The goal at the end of this first step is for the worker to choose a specific field of interest in a given sector or start over in a new one-week shadowing. The second step is training the worker in their area of interest. Depending on the chosen field, they will be integrated in a training programme offered by one of our partnership companies. The third step is a trial period meaning that if the second step is successful, the company can offer the worker a 3-month (or more) trial period within their organisation.
